What You'll Need:

· Wire clippers

· Pliers

· Cloth (optional)

· Guitar Polish (optional)

· String Winder (recommended)

Change your strings one by one, starting with the sixth (high e) and ending with the first (low E). First, you will want to release the sixth string by rolling the tuning head. Next, cut the string and use a pair of pliers to pull the peg out located on the bridge. Then take the string out.

Put the proper side of your new string into the bridge hole and insert the peg to secure the bridge’s end. Then put the other end of the string into the hole of the tuner.

Stretch part of the string and give enough length/slack so the string can be wound around the tuner.

Strain/Hold the string with one hand while you are tightening the tuning head with the other hand so that the loops are tight.

Then use the string winder to tighten the tuning head until the string becomes horizontal.

Repeat these steps for other strings. You can use a cloth and guitar polish to clean the frets as you change strings. After all of these steps, use your cloth and polish to clean the face, sides, and neck of the guitar.
